Associate Professor Victoria Mar


Assoc. Prof. Mar is a general dermatologist with a special interest in the early detection, management and follow-up of melanoma.

She trained in dermatology at the Alfred, Austin, Royal Melbourne and St George's Hospital London, obtaining Fellowship of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2010. She is the Head of the Victorian Melanoma Service and was appointed Adjunct Associate Professor at Monash University in 2018.

She has also completed a PhD investigating the clinical and molecular characteristics of aggressive melanoma with collaborators at the Alfred, Peter MacCallum, the Austin and Monash University.

Assoc. Prof. Mar is a Visiting Specialist at Alfred Hospital and Skin Health Institute, and the Dermatology representative on the Executive committee of the Australian and New Zealand Melanoma Trials Group.
